REPORT FROM THE WHEELOCK-DOTHAN PRAYER JOURNEY
October 7, 2007

While Pat Holloran was with us in September he had several experiences and visions from about 150-200 years ago.

I had a dream Saturday, September 29th, with the words repeated "something big is coming down within the next 9 days."  With the words I was impressed that something large that was held against us was coming down.

I did not realize that the two sets of experiences were connected.

On Oct. 3 & 4, Wednesday and Thursday I started to dig into the history in Vermont, circuit riders of the Methodists, and the history of Hartford because of what Pat was experiencing, but also because I was interested in finding out the history of the property that we're purchasing.

In the midst of researching, I found a major church split that impacted the whole region and even the nation. Although I had some knowledge about revivalist Eleazer Wheelock coming up from Connecticut and starting Dartmouth College, I did NOT realize that he started a church in two locations. There was one church in Hanover, but also one in the Dothan area in Hartford, north of present day Wilder. Dr. Wheelock pastored both churches until his death. One week he was in Hartford, the next week in Hanover. The kings grant for Dartmouth College was given 1769 and both of the churches were started about 1771.

Although Wheelock had been a Congregationalist in Connecticut, he set up a Presbyterian church here. The History of Hartford c. 1889 says
"As early as 1784  Dr. Eden Burroughs, pastor at Hanover Centre, renounced  Presbytery and a schism took place in his church.  The tendency of the region did not favor the more prelatical form of government. Nearly all the churches were organizing under the Congregational form of government. Personal questions relating to the policy in the college government became associated in the said church polity, and the discussions were of a very earnest nature."

The Hartford church was the bigger one and under congregational government had control. In later years, Dr. Eden Burroughs was pastor at the Dothan church and is buried at the cemetery in Hartford.

The History of Hartford using information from Sanborn's History of New Hampshire said, during his later life and troubles with the college, Dr. Wheelock had warmer friends and adherents in Hartford than in Hanover... And I quote the history -
"he regarded the ecclesiastical feud as the fruitful source of all his woes. It was a nucleus about which other official difficulties clustered *** Here was planted a seed which grew and became a mighty tree whose branches, in some sense, overshadowed the whole land!"

It went on for a number of years - The history said:
"From 1804 to 1814 the controversy was chiefly local disturbing the harmony of the village church, and impeding the vigorous administration of the college, both in the faculty and the board of trust. At the latter date, the public became interested in the quarrel and began to take sides as their political or religious preferences inclined. During the whole of the year of 1815 the press in New Hampshire probably devoted as much space to Dartmouth as to political matters. In some instances the leading journals of the state devoted five or six columns to original articles pertaining to the college controversy. The parties mutually charged each other with bigotry, intolerance and hypocrisy. The dispute soon became political in its character and federalists and republicans because earnest defenders of particular forms of ecclesiastical government. The Republicans in this case were generally Presbyterians and the Federalists Congregationalists."

This case of brother against brother, the Cain spirit was released only slightly after we became a nation. Vermont joined the Union in 1791.

I started to believe that my "something big is coming down" dream was about this history that I had uncovered and that a prayer of repentance and asking for the reproach of this schism be taken off the land needed to happen within those nine days.  It was also confirmed because currently the Alumni Association has filed a lawsuit against Dartmouth College Trustees because of governmental issues.

If I had not had the dream, I would have waited for more prayer and more apostolic input, but I needed to respond immediately to be within those 9 days. So on the 8th day, Sunday afternoon October 7th, a small troop of us gathered to pray at both Eleazar Wheelock's grave site on Dartmouth College and also the cemetery on Christian Street in Hartford across from Dothan Brook school. The prayer group included residents from both Vermont and New Hampshire, employees of the college, a parent of a Dartmouth student and even a Methodist pastor who owns property on what was called Dothan Street. Our ministry guests Martin and Cindy Frankena and Steve from their team were also with us.

We left from the Cafe and went to the grave sites of Eleazar Wheelock and John Wheelock and their wives. We took communion together and asked the Lord for forgiveness for the sins of the ancestors on this land and we put down both salt and oil. We asked the Lord to release the angels who were at the cemetery who held the father's blessing and to go to the generational line. At this point, we didn't feel released, but we also didn't know what to do so I called Pat on the cell phone and asked him if he had anything for us. It turned out that he was just a couple of miles away, so Pastors Janet and Allen Bishop, pastors from Newport VT brought Pat over to us at the cemetery at Dartmouth and they joined us.

I asked Pat Holloran to write down what he saw when we went to the cemeteries to pray.
From Pat:

When I arrived with Daryn, Alan and Janet Bishop, the group of prayer warriors were standing around the graves of Eleazar and his bride.

Upon walking up to meet everyone, I immediately noticed that you and the group had taken authority as people of the land.  There were fresh marks from where the angels of the Father's  Blessings had been dispatched to those in the family lines who were born again.  Yet, there were still some markers where the angels were still standing, because in the petition to the Lord for the angels to go to those descendants who were born again, there were not yet any who were walking with the Lord.

Allow me to explain.  There are angels who are given from God, mantles of the Father's Blessing.  These are given to the patriarchs of families.  They are also given the command from God to go and deliver these mantles of the father's blessing and that when these are received, they can then come back to the Heavenly Father.

Yet, many partiarchs do not even understand the gifting, yet alone the announcement, of the Father's Blessing from the Old Testament to the next generations.  It is because of this that many families do not walk in the total blessings of Fatherly proclaimed destiny.  And since these mantles were not received by the leaders of the families, the mantles are not delivered.  Therefore, the angels are not able to carry out all of God's commands.  Since they literally take the words of God, they will stand by grave markers or burial sites waiting for another generation to come and retrieve the mantles and initiate God ordained blessings that can only come from a father.

We have discovered that people of the lands who occupy the land can petition the Father in Heaven to command the angels to go to any in the family line who are born again.  In this way, it is hoped that the new fathers of the family line will accept the mantles and pronounce the blessings from God for the lineage.

Back to when we arrived.

It is important to know that there was a presence of the Table of the Lord in the midst of this gathering of people.  This was because they had shared together the offering that Jesus Christ had given to all of mankind on the night that He was betrayed.

I also observed that demonic lay lines had been severed and that these lines were no longer in effect.

At the head of the grave of Eleazar, was an angel who was about 12 feet tall.  He carried what looked like at first to be a scroll with a gold seal that was broken.  Upon further investigating, I realized that this was not a scroll, but a mantle that had been torn in several places.  The actual word I received was schisms had formed in the material.

It was at this moment that the Holy Spirit told me that the mantle would be repaired, even made brand new if it was layed on the shoulders of apostolic people who resided in the region.  I had Todd and Dee, as well as Alan and Janet Bishop (who are fathering a work in Newport, Vermont) to come together and hold hands.  I then announced that these two couples were walking free from selfish ambitions, selfish promotions, and the fear of man.  That Christ in them the hope of glory was living and moving within all four of them.  At this moment, the mantle was repaired and then the angel placed it on all four of the previously mentioned people.

As the mantle came on them, two apostolic angels came and stood behind the two couples.  Then three people who were visiting and would be ministering at the White Horse Cafe gathered around Todd and Dee, Alan and Janet.  They prophesied the blessings of the land to come into existence, as well as new beginnings to come forth and for the land to once again hear the cry of God's people in unity.

I then had Todd, Dee, Alan, and Janet remove all curses, spirits, and assignments of brother against brother, as well as the Cain spirit, and to send the evil under the feet of Jesus Christ.

This was followed by Janet Aloisio anointing one end of the marker of the Wheelock's grave with oil, and Alan Burroughs to anoint the other end of the marker. These two people have an inheritance on the land because of those who came ahead of them many generations ago.  With this done, we asked the Holy Spirit to seal up the work and bring a fresh wind of the Lord to the land.

I then remembered a dream that Dee had received a week and a half earlier. In the dream, the words came forth "Something big is coming down within nine days!"  As I remembered this dream that she had shared, I realized that this was that which was spoken of.  The legal permission slip for the Cain spirit to come on the region had been revoked.

We then all departed to the Dothan Cemetery.  This is where an ancestor of Alan Burroughs was buried.  In fact, it was the one of the two pastors who had been involved in dividing the work of Eleazar Wheelock after his death. If I remember correctly, it was announced that the Reverend Burroughs had actually been a spiritual son of Wheelock's.  And that he and another pastor who had been the other spiritual son argued over doctrines and denominationalism.  This was the incident that had initiated the brother against brother assignments that have until now been operating against the body of Christ in the region for a couple of centuries.

It was at Dothan Cemetery that Alan Burroughs repented for the ungodly division caused by his ancestor.  Then Dee Copley blessed the work of Reverend Burroughs hands and of them being righteous.  She also pronounced that now is the time of healing and that the Body of Christ would come into its destiny.

This caused a strong wind to arise at that very moment, and swirl around the grave of Reverend Burroughs.  It was at this moment that I spoke into Alan Burroughs life for land, title deeds, hills, and successes to come back into the family line and into his hands now.

With this, Dee pronounced that we are all blessed coming in and going out, and this is completed, in Jesus Christ's Name!  And everyone replied in the custom of the White Horse Cafe - WOW!!

When we arrived at the Dothan cemetery, although we did not know where Eden Burrough's grave was, we walked right to it. It is worth noting here that Allen and Merle Ann Burroughs were with us. Allen's family has been on the land in this region since the 1700's and it is very likely that he is a related to Dr. Burroughs. Allen works at Dartmouth College and Merle Ann also works at Dartmouth in the Judicial Affairs office.

I believe that Janet and Allen Bishop were with us on this prayer excursion because not only do they pastor a church in Newport and they are our friends, they have ties to the land in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The Dartmouth College Land Grant went into the Northeast Kingdom. When Eleazar Wheelock founded Dartmouth in 1769 he sought land grants to support the new college. In 1785 the Vermont legislature chartered and named a town of 23,000 acres for Wheelock. In the early 1800's substantial support for financially impoverished Dartmouth came from this one grant, a gift of Vermont.

As late as the mid-1800's the rentals paid by Wheelock Vermont tenants continued to provide a large percentage of the permanent funds for Dartmouth College, and some lands in the town still are held under long-term rentals from the college. In 1828, Dartmouth President Nathan Lord was in Wheelock collecting rents, and was heard to invite any young man of Wheelock who wanted to go to college to come down to Dartmouth, where they would get free tuition. The Wheelock Scholar program is still in existence to this day for full-time residents of Wheelock at the time application is made to Dartmouth.

After we prayed at the Dothan Cemetery I was hearing in my spirit doors closing for at least 15 minutes afterwards. It was as if things that had been opened for the enemy to access were closed off. Sometimes in spiritual issues, we do things in faith but wonder if it was finished, but we have seen an increase in changed lives, love, reconciliation and angelic activity since this prayer journey.

I believe that we went out as ‘repairers of the breech’ for our region, but that it was also a root that has affected the whole nation.

God bless you,
Dee Copley
