	ON THE EDGE OF A MIRACLE! UPDATE - January 30, 2008 We have continued throughout the fall to raise funds and to negotiate about land and the property, getting appraisals and working with engineers. The price for the land has come to $800,000 for the buildings and 8.5 acres.The Lord has miraculously helped us and over $88,000 has been raised. We have a donation of $100,000 pledged. At this point, we're pursuing financing for $620,000 but still believing for more donations to come. October 18, 2007 Matthew 13:44 The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. The cornfield has been harvested and we’re waiting for the surveyor to come in. Please pray for us that the finances will be released from heaven as we move forward! As of today $28,420 has been donated for the purchase. We’re moving forward in faith that it is the perfect will of the Lord for us to have this property and land for the kingdom. September 10, 2007 A miraculous and very sudden open door of opportunity has been given to us. Although we have received dozens of prophetic words about owning the land since we moved into this building in 2002, the landlord has never been interested in selling. I asked the landlord about the possibility of renting another larger garage space, and he made an offer to me. He has given us an opportunity to purchase 8 acres of land, the barn across the parking lot from our building which has three apartments and the Victorian house here in the complex. The fact that he would offer us 8 acres, which is a tenth of the 85 acres of the total complex feels so symbolic. There are 24 trees on that side of the property beside the corn field that remind me of the 24 elders. The cornfield looks like the movie, "The Field of Dreams". In fact, when I told the landlord we would like to build a place that would hold 500 people, he said to me, "if you build it, the people would come." Even the landlord is prophesying to me! We would have to put in a new driveway to access the land and work on the barn to make it useable for our purposes. I estimate that we will need approximately $900,000 for this Phase I. We would like to develop the property to build a conference center as Phase II in the future and the eight acres would give us enough land to develop it. It is zoned commercial-industrial. Now in the natural, this is impossible for us because we are still a small church body even though we host many events and have many national and international Kingdom connections. We host between 35 and 40 different ministry guests every year and we support international ministries as well. We also keep an apartment for our ministry guests so that they have a private place to stay while they itinerate in the region. Because most of our help is volunteer, we do all of this on less than $150,000 income each year. So even though $900,000 looks impossible in the natural, we have a miracle working God. We feel that if God has opened this door miraculously then there must be provision available to help us. We especially need your prayers and your assistance.
